Spot-welded mesh is generally produced from drawn steel or stainless steel wires. Yet also conceivable is a combination of flats (wires and sheets) or different wire diameters, lengths, and qualities. Common to all the pre-straightened bar stock is that resistance spot welding fuses to a mesh of precision, immovable crossing points.

We’ll also be happy to take care of the right use of materials and the appropriate downstream surface treatment of the finished mesh structures. We weld round, profiled, and flat wires, including bright steel, pre-galvanized (sendzimir), zinc-aluminum alloyed (galfan), copper-washed (reddish bright), or rustless (stainless steel AISI 304, AISI 316, etc., including high-tensile) material. In addition, we take care of the surface treatment you wish, whether hot dip galvanizing, electrogalvanizing (chromating), plastic coating, or a combination of these or other methods.

A look through our standard stock gives you an initial insight into our specific engineering capabilities. But we at K&L can do much more: The mesh can also be trimmed, seamed, edged, notched, bent, or supplemented with additional components according to the customer’s specifications, after or even during the actual welding process.
